It is our pleasure to welcome you to attend the 11th International Workshop on Oxide Surfaces, which will be held in Sierra Nevada (Granada) from Jan. 22 to Jan. 26, 2018. 

International Workshop on Oxide Surfaces (IWOX) is the leading international forum for the presentation and discussion of cutting-edge basic research in the physics and chemistry of oxide surfaces. Since its inception in 1999, IWOX workshops have been held every two years and have consistently attracted the best minds in oxides from the US, Europe and Asia. The scientific topics of this workshop in Sierra Nevada will be focused on Surface and Interfaces, Two-dimensional Materials and Energy Conversion and Storage. Six specific sessions will be covered: 1. Surface Structure and Activity; 2. Thin Films; 3. Interfaces; 4. Adsorption and Functionalization; 5. Catalysis; 6. Miscelaneous.
